yesterday and today

Yesterday I remembered why it is sometimes worthwhile getting up in the morning:

Today I remembered why it is sometimes better to rather stay in bed:

If you look closely you will see that I took these two photos from almost exactly the same spot. They were taken at the same time of the morning, one day apart.

How quickly things change, eh?

Who knows what tomorrow holds...

Daylight saving starts Sunday, more change...
That first shot is awesome.

Both photos are beautiful. Seems like things change in a blink of an eye sometimes.

I say we grab one of the boats, hit the high seas and sail into the sunset. But then again reality would catch up to us. I would be complaining I need a Dr. Pepper and some chocolate. Our hubbies would be calling franticly on the cell phones Where are you?? They would not understand we are going for a sail. Our kids would be lost without us needing clean clothes and food.

AAHH we can daydream though :)
Have a great weekend!!

p.s.
got my camera in my purse :)

Anne - Daylight savings?? Thanks for reminding me!

Beads - When do we leave? Bring the camera. Leave the phones behind, hehe!

Jason - Yeah, only that wasn't mist, that was miserable pelting rain. Blech!

Javier - Hi there! If u like the sunny one, click on my Flickr link in the sidebar. I took another, even better one, and posted it there.

Jeff - You are too kind :-)

Hi great shots;
We just passed through a Full Penumbral Lunor eclipse a week BEFORE the Solstice, and we have a Total Solar Eclipse coming up a week after the Solstice.

This is a time Heavy with Prophecy.
Tomorrow brings great change and Balance.
I'm living in the Eye of the Hurricane of Life.
If only I had a camera.
your humble servant,

Isn't there something magical about living near water no matter what the weather?? Spring is here in NY but it sure does not feel like it. Grey days seep into our skin and make for grey moods, hope the sun is shinning today.

Beautiful photos Terri. I like them both, the grey one does make me want to curl up in bed with a mug of hot chocolate and a good movie or book.

Great pics, Terri.
Seems summer (sprng?) is on the way with a vengeance.
This of course means we, down south, are heading towards colder days... lets hope the warm weather lasts until after Easter. I've got plans to do some camping.

Schoenies looked more like the second one this weekend. Very good pics! Somehow the sunny ones always look happier don't you think? Looks like winter is creeping up on us like Chitty said. Nights are cool enough to be grabbing at jerseys.

Lori - Hope yours was good too :-)

Ancient Clown - Er, ja. Never leave home without your camera.

Tammy - I do love living near the water; it has a very calming effect. Mostly ;-)
As for grey days - no need to tell me about those... have you been to Ireland???!

Spookie - Me too. But if I did that every time the weather looked like that here, I'd only get out of bed for like 2 weeks of the year, hehe!

Chitty - Camping sounds fun! And Ja, I really feel sorry for you having to brave that dreadful SA winter.

Buddess - I hope that means I can hop over to your blog to check out some photo's from home soon? :-)

angel - it is, and yes it is beautiful. It is also, often, cold, miserable and wet though lol!

ekapa - New career? hehe, I think not, but thanks for the compliment :-)
Ooh, and I love winter woolies too! As much as I complain about the cold weather, I LOVE snuggling up in thick jerseys & cuddly clothes!
